Saving on Your Listing

When you list with Rion Real Estate you save 1/3 on your listing side commission. That's 1% of your sales price, or a savings of $3,750 on a $375,000.00 home.

What are the costs when you sell your home?

In a typical home sale, you can count on your costs to sell being 8-10% of your sales price. Included in that amount are:

• Real Estate Excise Tax (REET) - 1.78% of your sales price in King County
• Owner's Title Insurance Policy - varies based on your sales price - see sample rates from First American Title
• Escrow Fees - see sample rates from Chicago Title
• Recording Fees - see rates from King County

When you list your home, we'll prepare a Seller's Estimated Net Proceeds worksheet for you to review.

Share in the work, reap the rewards

We take care of almost everything like installing a sign, putting a lockbox on the door, professional photography, MLS listing, and more but there are a few ways we ask you to help:

• You are expected to maintain your home in good showing condition and make it as available as possible to showings.
• You are required to offer competitive compensation to the agent that brings the buyer.
• We ask that you make your own color prints of the marketing flyer we'll prepare for you and send to you electronically.
• If you need booties or special staging items, you're responsible for purchasing and maintaining them.

How can we do it for less?

It's pretty simple. As a brokerage, we keep our overhead low by:

• avoiding high rent office space
• sinking money into expensive and ineffective print advertising
• only accepting qualified, productive real estate agents onto our roster
• economy through the use of technology
• enacting a business plan that seeks a lower margin on a higher number of sales

Unfortunately due to the uncertainty and labor intensive nature of short sale transactions, we are unable to offer a reduced commission listing for these situations.

We reserve the right to refuse any listing or make alternative compensation arrangements on a case by case basis.
