Why Work With an Agent?

In our case, we know the greater Seattle area. We know that real estate is not rocket science, but we have a familiarity and perspective about the real estate market that comes only from living and working here.

We have access to resources that can help you.

We participate in the Multiple Listing Service through the NWMLS. We know lots of mortgage professionals, home inspectors, title companies, real estate attorneys, and many other professionals that can help you with your sale or purchase.

You could certainly find a home, a mortgage banker, an inspector, an attorney, and a title company to represent you...but why go through the work when you can have your agent help you? Plus we sometimes have access to information that is not advertised to the public such as listings that will be coming on the market soon.

Provide an objective perspective and information.

We can let you know about community information, zoning, school information, and an opinion on resale potential.

Assistance with negotiation.

A purchase agreement is full of other terms besides the sales price. What about closing and possession dates, setting up reasonable amounts of times for inspections and investigations of the property? It is helpful to have an advocate who knows the ins and outs of a purchase agreement to make sure you're getting the best deal possible.
